Black Veil Brides for/para Helena.

Uno de mis personajes, Helena, ha comenzado el año con ganas de contar su historia. Habitualmente nunca pienso en ella ni en su historia. Sin embargo, cuando cojo el bolígrafo su historia se plasma en el papel sin pensar y sin esfuerzo. Y mejor de todo es que creo que es la historia que quería para mi Onixe pero que ella rechazó (no importa, quiero a Onixe tal y como es).

La banda sonora de Helena está siendo la música de Black Veil Brides (BVB). Banda creada en Cincinnati (Ohio) y traslada posteriormente a Hollywood (California). El nombre del grupo viene de Andy Biersack y su fascinación por el Catolicismo de Roma. El termino de Novia de Velo Negro se refiera a la coronación de las monjas quienes se casan con Dios y en la ceremonia visten un velo negro.

El estilo musical se puede clasificar como rock gótico, metal alternativo, glam rock, hardcore o emo. Según Andy es metal melódico, romántico y oscuro en esencia con elementos punk rock, bases de deathcore y heavy metal. Sus influencia Avenged Sevenfold y Alkaline Trio. Han sido comparados con Scorpions, Motley Crtie y Kiss (quizás por el maquillaje??).



Los componentes actuales son Andy Biersack (voz), Jeremy "Jinxx" Ferguson (guitarra rítmica), Jake Pitts (guitarra lider), Christian Coma (batería) y Ashley Purdy (bajo). Su primer EP "Sex & Hollywood" se lanza en 2007, En 2099 su primer vídeo musical fue para la canción "Knives and Pens" y en julio de 2010 se publica su primer álbum de estudio "We stitch the wounds" el cual llegó a ser número uno en el Independent Albums. En 2011 llegó su segundo álbum "Set the world on fire", siendo el número dos en Hard Rock Albums de la revista Billboard. El mismo año se publica el segundo EP "Rebels". Y el último disco de estudio hasta el momento se publica en 2013 "Wretched And Divine: The Story Of The Wild Ones".



One of my characters, Helena, has begun the year eager to tell her story. Usually I never think in her or in her story. However, when I take the pen her story is reflected in the pages without thinking and without effort. And best of all is that I think that it is the story I wanted to for my Onixe but she refused (no matter, I lover Onixe any way). The term black veil bride refers to the coronation of the nuns who are married with God and in the ceremony wear a black veil. The musical style can be classified as Gothic rock, alternative metal, glam rock, hardcore and emo. According to Andy is melodic metal, romantic and dark in essence with punk rock elements, bases of deathcore and heavy metal. Their influence are Avenged Sevenfold and Alkaline Trio. They have been compared to Scorpions, Motley Crtie and Kiss (perhaps by makeup?).
