30 second to mars week/semana.
Yes!!! This is the 30 Second to Mars' week!! Just 1 day for the concert!!! Obviously they're one of my favorite bands and no, I'm not looking on the memories box, but I could 'cos they started at '98 at The Angeles. The original members: Jared Leto, Matt Wachter and Shannon Leto. Solon Bixler played some time with but he was replaced by Tomo Milicevic. Matt Wachter leaved the group and now plays by Angels & Airwaves.
CV: 11 millions albums sold, +50 awards,+70 nominations, +300 concert at the last tour 2010-11 (Guinness Record), 4 albums: "30 Seconds to Mars", "A Beautiful Lie", "This Is War" and "Love, Lust, Faith and Dreams".

Descansa en paz/rest in peace Lou Reed.
Hoy ha fallecido el legendario Lou Reed cofundador de The Velvet Underground junto a John Cale en 1964. En solitario triunfó con álbumnes como "Transformer", "Lou Reed" o "Metal Machine Music".
The Velvet Underground fue fundada en 1964 en Nueva York. Fue una de las primeras bandas en incluir influencia avat-garde y el uso del noise dentro del rock (ruido de guitarras). La historia de la banda se inicia cuando Reed y Cale se conocen y fundan The Primitives para promocionar el single de Reed "The Ostrich". Posteriormente se les unión Sterling Morrison y Angus McLise formando The warlocks que más tarde pasarían a ser The Falling Spikes.
The Velvet Underground es el título de un libro sobre sadomasoquismo de Michael Leigh que un amigo de la banda, Jim Tucker, encontró tirado en la calle. MacLise fue reemplazado por Maureen Tucker quien tocaba la batería de pie y con mazos en lugar de baquetas.
Su música está llega de ruido y distorsiones y la las letras tras de tópicos inuales para su época como el masoquismo, travestismo y la adicción a la heroina, Andy Warhol fue mánager del grupo y fue él quien sugirió que la modelo Nico debía cantar en la banda pasando a ser The Velvet Underground & Nico. Reed acabó despidiendo a Warhol y Nico.

Today deceased the legendary Lou Reed, founder of The Velvet Underground with John Cale in 1964. In his solo career triumphed with "Transformer", "Lou Reed" or "Metal Machine Music".
The Velvet Underground was founded in 1964 in New York. It was one of the first bands to include avat-garde influence and the use of noise (guitar noise). The band's history begins when Reed and Cale are known and founded The Primitives for promoting the Reed' single "The Ostrich". Alice in Chains: in my top ten rock list.
Or on the Top Five. I love Alice in Chains!!! Of course, I'm working on "Red Nights" Saga and listening old cds. What can I say? A lot of my favorite bands started to play when I'd not born or I was too young to apreciate them and I wanna listen all about them.I can't choose between any of their albums. I love all of them: "Facelift", "Dirt", "Alice in Chains", "Black gives way to blue" or "The devil put dinosaurs here"; but if I have to (just if I have to)... the two first. And obviously SAP!!
Alice in Chains is a grunge band formed in Seattle (Washington) in 1987 by Jerry Cantrell and Layne Staley (†2002). The initial lineup: Sean Kinney and Mike Starr (†2011. Replace by Mike Inez 1993). The band incoporates heavy metal and acoustic elements. They was part of the grunge movement of the early 90s with other Seattle bands such as Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden.
After a inactividty time from 1996, the band reunited in 2005 with a new lead vocalist, William DuVall.

O en mi Top Five. Me encanta Alice in Chains!!! Por supuesto, estoy trabajando en "Red Nights" Saga y escuchando cds viejos. ¿Qué puedo decir? Muchas de mis bandas favoritas comenzaron a tocar cuando yo no había nacido o era muy peque para aprecirles y quiero escuchar todas sus canciones. No puedo elegir entre ninguno de sus álbumes. Me encantan todos: "Facelift", "Dirt", "Alice in Chains", "Black gives way to blue" or "The devil put dinosaurs here", pero si tengo que elegir (sólo si tengo que hacerlo) .. . me quedo con los dos primeros. Y por supuesto SAP!!!

Moonspell: heavy black metal.
Yes, 'cos not only with rock can live the human being. I found another perfect music background while I'm writting "Red Nights" Saga at the portuguese band: Moonspell. Their last album was last year: "Alpha noir/Omega White". But right now I'm listing another old album: "Irreligious" (1996). Yes, I'm still digging the my uncle's memories trun. There're a lot of treasure inside it.
Their first album, "Wolfhear" got rave reviews especially for its lyrics which were poems of Fernando Ribeiro, lead singer, written under the pseudonym of Langsuyar Tenebrarum Rex (King of Darkness).

Sí, porque no sólo del rock vive el ser humano. He encontrado otro grupo perfecto para utilizarlo como banda sonora mientras escribo la saga de "Red Nights", los portugueses: Moonspell. Su último trabajo fue el año pasado: "Alphanoir/Omega White". Ahora miso estoy escuchando un disco de 1996: "Irreligious". Si todavía estoy rebuscando en el baúl de los recuerdos de mi tío. Hay un montón de tesoros en él.
Su primer disco, "Wolfhear", consiguió críticas muy favorables sobre todo por sus letras las cuales eran poemas de Fernando Ribeiro, el vocalista del grupo, escritos bajo el pseudónimo de Langsuyar Tenebrarum Rex (el rey de las tinieblas).
