A Fire Inside - AFI (english version)

AFI (A Fire Inside) is a rock band formed in Ukiah (California) in 1991 composed by Davey Havok, Mark Stopholese, Hunter Burgan and Adam Carson while studying in high school they start to play alternative music. Their style has evolved over the years. Their beginnings in the 90s were marked by the hardcore punk influenced by The Misfits and Dead Kennedys  The punk still remainded on their second and the third album incorporated electronic sounds and gothic music of the 80s. In 1993 they released their EP "Dork" with the group Loose Change where Jade Puget played. Chalker left the group and was replaced by Geoff Dresge but shortly after the group was disbanded when its components separated to go to different universities. Years later reconvened to devote theirself entirely to music. They recorded numerous vinyl EPs and shared with bands like "Heckle" and "Swingin 'Utters".

Their official debut came in 1995 with: "Answer That and Stay Fashionable". A year later Dexter Holland (The Offspring) signed them to his label Nitro Records where AFI recorded "Very Proud of Ya". Shortly before the launch of the third album, Kresge left the band and was replaced by Hunter Burgan. In 1997 it was published "Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes" with a very different sound to the band's original. A year later comes "A Fire Inside EP" released by Adeline Records. Stopholese was expelled from the band andwas replaced by Jade Puget (ex-Redemption 87 and Loose Change). Jade brought with him a new sound and more aggressive rhythms. These sounds were collected in 1999 on the new album "Black Sails In the Sunset" in which collaborated Holland. That same year take another EP: "All Hallow's EP".

In 2000 published another album "The Art of Drowning" with old school hardcore sound with melodic touches and lyrics inspired in horror punk, highlighting the singers: "The Days of the Phoenix" and "Totalinmmortal". The latter would be versioned by The Offspring. Two years later they released their single in ten-inch vinyl.

In next album, "Sing the Sorrow", AFI was assisted by Butch Vig (producer of "Nevermind" by Nirvana) and Jerry Finn (Green Day producer and Blink 182) and signed with DreamWorks Records. The new album was full of dark alternative/goth sounds. They managed to reach the top positions of the Modern Rock Tracks with "Girl 's Not Grey", "Silver and Cold" and "The Leaving Song Pt II". The album sold over one million copies just in the U.S. June 2006, "Decemberunderground" was launched with a more electronic sound reaching number one on the Billboard 200, in addition to being certified platinum by the RIAA and gold by ARIA. They have participated in Guitar Hero III with "Miss Murder" and completing the game levels you can get to hear the song "Carcinogen Crush". In Guitar Hero 5 participated with "Medicate".

Three years later they released their eighth studio album "Crash Love". In July 2013 went on sale on iTunes the single "I Hope You Suffer" and in October "Burials" album. Its second singer was "17 Crimes" of a remix by The Riots for the movie "The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones". 

The members have their own lives outside of AFI. Havok began in 2001 with the Blaqk Audio project with a synth pop, techno, industrial, darkwave and electro style. Blaqk Audio have released two albums: "CexCells" and "Bright Black Heaven". Youth founded in 2000 the horror punk group: Son of Sam, and Havok was the vocalist on the first album: "Songs from the Earth". Burgan plays with Hunter Revenge who released an album in 2001 titled with a homonymous name. Carson worked for five years with Tiger Army and recorded two albums with this group. Havok has worked with Tiger Army  at "Power of Moonlite" and "Music from Regions Beyond". Puget also collaborated with this group mixing the theme "Music from Regions Beyond".

A Fire Inside/Fuego interior (versión en español)

AFI (A Fire Inside) es uno grupo de rock alternativo formado en Ukiah (California) en 1991 compuesta por Davey Havok, Mark Stopholese, Adam Carson y Hunter Burgan cuando estudiaban en el instituto comenzaron a tocar música alternativa. Su estilo ha ido evolucionando con el paso de los años. Sus inicios en los 90 estuvieron marcado por el hardcore punk influenciados por The Misfits y Dead Kennedys. Siguieron con el punk en su segundo álbum y con el tercero incorporaron sonidos de electrónica y música gótica de los 80.

En 1993 lanzaron su EP "Dork" con el grupo Loose Change donde tocaba el futuro guitarrista Jade Puget. Chalker dejó el grupo y fue reemplazado por Geoff Dresge pero poco después el grupo fue disuelto al separarse sus componentes para ir a diferentes universidades. Años más tarde volvieron a reunirse para dedicarse completamente a la música. Grabaron numerosos EPs y vinilos compartidos con bandas como "Heckle" y "Swingin' Utters".

Su disco debut llegó en 1995: "Answer That and Stay Fashionable". Un año más tarde Dexter Holland (The Offspring) los fichó para su sello Nitro Records donde graban "Very Proud of Ya". Poco antes de la salida del tercer álbum Kresge deja el grupo y es sustituido por Hunter Burgan. En 1997 sale "Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes" siendo su sonido muy diferente al original de la banda. Un año después llega "A Fire Inside EP" publicado por Adeline Records. Stopholese fue expulsado de la banda quien fue sustituido por Jade Puget (ex de Redemption 87 y ex-Loose Change). Jade trajo con él un nuevo sonido y canciones más completas con ritmos más agresivos.  Sonidos que fueron recogidos en 1999 en el nuevo disco "Black Sails In the Sunset" en el cual colaboró Holland. Ese mismo año sacan otro EP: "All Hallow's EP".

En 2000 sacan otro disco: "The Art of Drowning" de sonido hardcore con toques old school melódicos y letras de inspiración horror punk, destacando los singers "The Days of the Phoenix" y "Totalinmmortal". Este último sería versionado por The Offspring. Dos años más tarde lanzaron su único vinilo de diez pulgadas.

En siguiente álbum, "Sing the Sorrow", AFI contó con la colaboración de Butch Vig (productor de "Nevermind" de Nirvana) y Jerry Finn (productor de Green Day y Blink 182) y firmaron con DreamWorks Records. El nuevo disco estuvo lleno de sonidos alternativos y dark/goth. Consiguieron llegar a las primeras posiciones del Modern Rock Tracks con: "Girl's Not Grey", "Silver and Cold" y "The Leaving Song Pt. Junio de 2006, se lanza "Decemberunderground" con un sonido más electrónico alcanzando el número uno en el Billboard 200, además de ser certificado como disco de platino por la RIAA y oro por la ARIA. Han participado en Guitar Hero III con "Miss Murder" y completando los niveles del juego se puede llegar a escuchar la canción "Carcinogen Crush". En Guitar Hero 5 participaron con "Medicate".

Tres años más tarde publican su octavo disco de estudio "Crash Love". En julio del 2013 se pone a la venta en iTunes el sencillo "I Hope You Suffer" y en octubre el disco "Burials". Su segundo Singer fue "17 Crimes" del que se hizo un remix por La Riots para la película "Cazadores de sombras: Ciudad de hueso".

Los integrantes tienen vida fuera de AFI. Havok comenzó en 2001 junto a Puget el proyecto Blaqk Audio de estilo synth pop, techno, industrial, darkwave o electropop. Han publicado dos álbumes: "CexCells" y "Bright Black Heaven". Youth fundó en 2000 el grupo de horror punk Son of Sam. Havok fue el vocalista en el primer álbum: "Songs from the Earth". Burgan toca Hunter Revenge con quien lanzó un álbum en 2001 de nombre homónimo. Carson colaboró durante cinco años con Tiger Army y grabó dos discos con esta formación. Havok ha colaborado con Tiger Army en "Power of Moonlite" y "Music from Regions Beyond". Puget también colaboró con esta anda mezclando el tema "Music from Regions Beyond".

Rock'n'Brit: Bullet For My Valentine (o para todos)

Bullet For My Valentine es una banda de heavy metal galesa constituida inicialmente bajo el nombre de “Jeff Killed John” en 1998. El grupo fue rebautizado en 2003 con su nombre actual debido a la entrada de James y la salida de Nick Crandle en el grupo. La formación original creó 17 canciones de las que 4 de ellas fueron reeditadas por Bullet For My Valentine: Routine Unhappiness, Eye Spy, All These Things I Hate y Nation To Nation.

Su álbum debut fue The Poison el cual salió a la venta en 2005 y entró en el número 128 del Billboard 200. En 2009 recibieron el disco de oro por haber vendido más de 500.000 copias en EE.UU. De este disco dos singles se convertirían en himnos del grupo: Tears Don’t Fall y All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me).

Su segundo álbum fue Scream Aim Fire, salió a la venta en 2008 y alcanzó el puesto número 5 del UK Album Chart. Fueron tres los singles; Waking The Demon, Scream Aim Fire y Hearts Burst Into Fire. A finales del mismo año se lanza la version Deluxe del disco con Ashes of the Innocent, Watching Us Die Tonight, One Good Reason Why y Road to Nowhere.

Fever salió en 2010 y ha sido el disco con mayor éxito de la banda hasta el momento. La canción Your Betrayal fue el primer single y fue seguida de The Last Fight. En octubre Matt Tuck anunció que trabajaba con un proyecto paralelo AxeWound cuyo primer trabajo ha sido Vultures.

Temper Temper fue lanzado en 2013 y en nombre del mismo año publicaron en YouTube Raising Hell como adelanto de su próximo álbum.

Rock'n'Brit: Bullet For My Valentine (or 4 everyone)

Bullet For My Valentine is a Welsh heavy metal band originally formed under the name of "Jeff Killed John" in 1998. The group was renamed in 2003 to its current name due to the exit of Nick Crandle and the entry of James in the group. The original group created 17 songs that 4 of them were reissued or Bullet For My Valentine: Routine Unhappiness, Eye Spy, All These Things I Hate and Nation To Nation.

His debut album The Poison which was released in 2005 and came in at number 128 on the Billboard 200. In 2009 they received a gold record for selling over 500,000 copies in the United States. This disc had two singles would become anthems of the group: Tears Do not Fall and All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me).

Their second album was Scream Aim Fire, was released in 2008 and peaked at number 5 of the UK Album Chart. There were three singles: Waking The Demon, Scream Aim Fire and Hearts Burst Into Fire. Later that year launched the Deluxe version of the album with Ashes of the Innocent, Watching Us Die Tonigh , One Good Reason Why and Road to Nowhere.



Fever came out in 2010 and has been the most successful album of the band so far. The song Your Betrayal was the first single and was followed by The Last Fight. In October Matt Tuck announced was working with a side project AxeWound whose first job was Vultures.

Temper Temper was released in 2013 and on behalf of the same year published in YouTube: Raising Hell, in advance of their next album.

Black Tide in acustic/en acústico

Black Tide es un grupo de heavy metal creado en Miami (Florida) en 2004 pero debutaron oficialmente en 2008 con Light From Above. El nombre original del grupo era Radio cuando fue creado por Gabriel García y su hermano Raúl García a quienes se unió poco después Alex Nuñez, Zachary Sandler y Steven Spence. Poco después Raúl dejaría el grupo.

Entre sus grupos de influencia se encuentran AC/DC, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Pantera, Ozzy Osbourne, Van Halen, Judas Priest y Megadeth. Su estilo ha sido descrito como speed metal y heavy metal.

El grupo consiguió una plaza para la segunda edición del Ozzfest pero al estar patrocinado por una marca de licor y al no tener sus componentes la edad legal para beber no pudieron participar porque actuaron en el acto de apertura. Posteriormente estuvieron de gira con Avenged Sevenfold y All That Remains.

Su primer álbum Light From Above tuvo una gran acogida entre los críticos. Alcanzaron el número 73 del Billboard 200 y ganaron el Premio a la Mejor revelación de la revista Kerrang! Fue en el verano de 2008 cuando Alex deja la banda y es reemplazado por Austin "Panix" Díaz. Ese mismo año fueron teloneros de Bullet For My Valentine. En 2009 hicieron su desembarco en Inglaterra y en 2010 volvieron a telonear a Bullet For My Valentine y Escape the Fate. En 2011 fueron teloneros de Iron Maiden y actuaron en el festival de Inglaterra: Sonisphere. En el segundo semestre de 2011 salió su segundo álbum Post mortem y su primer tema en español se incluyó en el EP titulado Al Cielo EP a finales del mismo año.

Back Tide is a heavy metal band created in Miami (Florida) in 2004 but officially debuted in 2008 with Light From Above. The original name of the group was Radio when was created by Gabriel Garcia and his brother Raul Garcia who joined shortly after Alex Nuñez, Zachary Sandler and Steven Spence. Raul shortly after leaved the group.

Among his influential groups AC/DC, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Pantera, Ozzy Osbourne, Van Halen, Judas Priest and Megadeth are. Their style has been described as heavy metal and speed metal.

The group achieved a place in the second annual Ozzfest but being sponsored by a brand of liquor and all they have no legal drinking age couldn't participate but they played in the opening act. Subsequently they were touring with Avenged Sevenfold and All That Remains.

Their first album Light From Above was well received among critics. Reached number 73 on the Billboard 200 and won for Best Revelation Award from Kerrang! Magazine. It was in the summer of 2008 when Alex left the band and was replaced by Austin "Panix" Diaz. That same year they were opening for Bullet For My Valentine. In 2009 they made their landing in England in 2010 and returned to opening for Bullet For My Valentine and Escape the Fate. In 2011 they opened for Iron Maiden and performed at the festival in England: Sonisphere. In the second half of 2011 came their second album Post mortem and their first song in Spanish was included in Al Cielo EP little bit later that year.

Alter Bridge

Alter Bridge is an American hard rock band formed by Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Phillips (Creed), with Myles Kennedy (The Mayfield Four) in Orlando (Florida). They took the name of a bridge built in the Alter Road route (near Detroit in Michigan) next to the house where Tremonti had grown. The bridge is at the intersection of Alter and Korte to the border between Detroit and Grosse Point Park. As a child Mark was forbidden to cross the bridge so always associated with the new and unknown as well as the election.

Their debut album One Day Remains was in 2004 with the singles Open your Eyes, Find The Real and Broken Wings recorded with Wind-Up Records. The album managed to be certified gold in the U.S. platinum and internationally. The second album was titled Blackbird, was released in 2007 and was their first single Rise Today. The only song Blackbird was named the "Best Single of All Time" by Guitar magazine Magazine. That same year he signed with Universal Republic Records after Wind-Up pressures exerted on them to return to join Scott Stapp (Creed singer) . The third album was released in 2010: AB III, whose first single was Isolation. Fortress was the fourth came after three years including Calm The Fire, All Ends Well, Waters rising and Cry of Achilles.
