Trapt is a rock band from Los
Gatos (California - USA) but living in Vancouver (Canada). The group
was created in 1997 by Chris Brown, Simon Ormandy, Peter Charel and David
Stege Charell. After two years recorded their first albums:
Amalgamation and Glimpse. They signed with Warner Bros. Records.
Stege is replaced by Robin Diaz who would be replaced in turn by
Aaron Montgomery.
The November 22, 2002 they released their homonymous nambe album with three singles: Headstron, No. 1 U.S. Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock U.S. and 16 of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. The second was Still Flame No. 1 U.S. Modern Rock and #3 at Mainstream Rock U.S. And Echo was #10 U.S. Modern Rock.
Their next product was a 3 songs EP released on March 30, 2004 with live versions of Made of Glass and Echo, plus the unreleased Promise.
Stand Up, Waiting and Disconnected (Out of Touch) were the therre singles from the album of 13 septiember 2004: Someone in Control.
In 2006 they toured with Nickelback, Chevelle and Three Days Grace. Their live album Trapt Live! was posted on September 17, 2007 with new studio tracks and Stay Alive and Everything to Lose. A year after leaving the group Ormandy and the single Who's Going Home with You Tonight from the album Only Though the Pain is released. That same year 2008 were part of Cruefest tour with Papa Roach, Sixx AM and Buckcherry.
From the 2010 album No apologies are chosen as singles Sound off and End of my Rope. In 2013 they released their last album Reborn independently.

Trapt es un grupo de rock procedente de
Los Gatos (California – EE.UU.) pero residente en Vancouver
(Canadá). El grupo fue creado en 1997 por Chris Brown, Simon
Ormandy, Peter Charell y David Stege. Dos años más tardes grabaron
sus primeros discos: Amalgamation y Glimpse. Firmaron con Warner
Bros. Records. Stege es reemplazado por Robin Diaz quien sería

El 22 de noviembre de 2002 lanzan su
disco de nombre homónimo Trapt con tres singles: Headstron, número
