MetalBrit: Asking Alexandria (english version)

Asking Alexandria are a band of Nottingham (England) although its origins are in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) in 2003 where Ben Bruce created Amongst Us, band renamed End Of Reason and Asking Alexandria in 2006. When Ben came to England in 2008 formed a new group with the same name . Their style has been described as screamo, metalcore, heavy metal and electronicore. Their influences include: Aerosmith, Metallica, Guns N 'Roses and Mötley Crüe .

The June 25, 2007 they released their first album, The Irony of Your Perfection with Hangmans Joke Recordings. Bruce moved to England leaving Dubai and to the old components and creating a new group with the same name. The debut album from the new lineup came in 2009: Stand Up and Scream to Sumerian Records. The November 23, 2010 take an EP: Life Gone Wild with the song Breathless, remixes of A Single Moment of Sincerity, Skid Row Youth Gone Wild, Not The American Average and I Was Once, Possibly, Maybe, Perhaps a Cowboy King.

In 2011 Reckless and Relentless goes with the singers: Someone, somewhere, To the Stage (video directed by Frankie Nasso) and Closure whose video was directed by Thunder Down Country. The same year were opening for Guns N 'Roses at Izod Center.

In late 2012 they launched a New EP: Under the Influence: A Tribute to the Legends of Rock Hard distributed exclusively through Revolver magazine. During the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour, Danny's vocal cord is broken and must be replaced by Chris Fronzack and Deni Oliver. Their last studio album came out in 2013 and was named From Death to Destiny.
