Three Days Grace

Three Days Grace (3DG) es una banda de rock formada en Norwood, Ontario (Canadá) en 1992. Su nombre original fue Groundswell bajo cuyo nombre sólo grabaron un álbum sin mucho éxito. De aquella formación de cinco, sólo tres se reunirían en 1997: Adam Gontier, Neil Sanderson y Brad Walst. Tres años más tarde lanzan su primera demo y tres años más tarde el primer álbum oficial de EDG (el segundo de la formación original). Ese mismo año se une al grupo Barry Stock. El disco como cuarteto fue One-X en 2006 con cuatro sencillos: Animal I Have Become, Pain, Never Too Late y Riot. Este disco fue producido por Howard Benson y ha sido el disco más vendido de la banda. El disco, Life Starts Now, vió la luz en 2009, fue nominado en los premios Juno de 2010, disco de platino en Canadá y oro en EEUU. El quinto álbum fue Transit of Venus lanzado en 2012, estuvo producido por Don Gilmore bajo el sello de Sony Music (SME) y del cual se han extraído dos sencillos: Chalk Outline y The High Road. El año pasado se anuncio la salida del vocalista Adam por problemas de salud.

Three Days Grace (3DG) is a rock band formed in Norwood, Ontario (Canada) in 1992. The original name was Groundswell under whose name they recorded only one album without much success. From the group of five, only three would meet in 1997: Adam Gontier, Neil Sanderson and Brad Walst. Three years later they released their first demo and three years later the first official album of EDG (the second of the original band). That same year Barry Stock joined to the group. The album as a quartet was One-X in 2006 with four singles: Animal I Have Become, Pain, Never Too Late and Riot. This album was produced by Howard Benson and has been the best-selling album of the band. The album, Life Starts Now, saw the light in 2009, it was nominated at the Juno Awards of 2010, Platinum disc in Canada and gold disc in the United States. The fifth album was Transit of Venus in 2012, was produced by Don Gilmore under the label of Sony Music (SME) and which have been extracted two singles: Chalk Outline and The High Road. Last year it was announced the departure of vocalist Adam by health problems.
